This is a 6 week mixed media course suitable for beginners and those who have done a little art but would like more confidence with different media. Suitable for Adults. The course is held on the following dates (please make sure you can attend them all or most of them as refunds cannot be given for any days missed): Tuesday afternoons 2 pm to 4.30pm October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, (no 29th as half term) November 5th & 12th. 2024. Held at : Slindon Coronation Hall, Reynold Lane, Slindon, BN18 0QT This is an exciting 6 week course where we will be experimenting with different art media! This is a lovely opportunity to trial different art media that you may not of tried before, or are wanting to learn different ways of using these exciting art products! The following will be covered over the six weeks: * Graphite pencils and drawing pens * Water colour Inks * Oil Pastels * Acrylics * Gouache Paint The last week will be a choice of your own from the above. The price includes ALL materials. You don not need to bring anything with you. Tea/Coffee and biscuits are also provided. Classes are relaxed, friendly and nurturing. There is no pressure to "perform" or produce amazing pictures. It is about having fun experimenting with different types of media, learning & enjoying yourself, and improving confidence with art! Tutor: Nancy Scantlebury-Thompson (Potter in residents at Amberley Museum, illustrator and tutor) Sorry, but no refunds are given unless under exceptional circumstances, and only before 2 weeks of the start date of the course.
