Service Description
This is a casual morning in my studio for those that have either been on one of my workshops, or have done a bit of clay work before, and would like to continue their skills. This is not a structured lesson, but support will be on hand as always! You are given free rein within reason to create what you want in the studio; clay will be charged by weight if you make more than one item. Create a pot, tile, small sculpture, or something decorative whilst having a sociable chat! (Sorry I cannot accommodate wheel throwing in this session) Price includes: Tutor on hand, one item made (more than one item will be charged by weight), Firing, underglazes, glazes, tea, coffee and biscuits Important Information * All courses are held at WoodSmoke Pottery in Amberley Museum by resident potter Nancy Scantlebury-Thompson. * Bookings are NON-Refundable! Please make sure you are ok with this before booking. * Parking is free at Amberley Train Station car park in the " museum visitors" section, however you must put your registration number in at reception to avoid being charged! * Entrance to the pottery is via the main entrance to the museum. Please give your name to the reception where they will have a list of attendees to that day's course. You do not need to pay to get into the museum if you are attending one of my courses. * Please note it is a good 10 to 15 minute walk to the pottery from the car park. Please make sure this is manageable for you. * The classes are relaxed & friendly. * This class is for adults only. * Bring an Apron as clay is messy! * The pottery can get cold, so wear layers! * If you require an alternative non dairy milk/snack please let me know beforehand.
