Service Description

Come and have some "Christmas" fun making your very own clay decorations. You will be given a choice of decorations to make in this fun workshop at the beautiful WoodSmoke Pottery studio.. Using either Earthenware or Porcelain clay and then colouring in festive cheer, You will be supported and taught by resident Potter Nancy Scantlebury-Thompson. Date: Saturday 9th, 16th and 20th November 2024 Time: 10.30am to 12.00 Venue: WoodSmoke Pottery, Amberley Museum, Amberley. This course is suitable for all levels from beginner to more advanced, suitable for adults and older children. Price includes: All tuition, materials/colour and firing, Tea/Coffee and mince pies! Your decorations will be available for pick up from the pottery in 3 weeks time. Important Information: * Please note, the pottery is a good 10-15 minute walk from the Amberley museum station carpark. * Entrance to the pottery is via the main entrance to the museum. Upon arrival, please give your name to the front desk where they will have a list of that days course attendees. You do not need to pay to get into the museum if you are on one of my courses! * Classes are not suitable for young children. If you are under 16 years old, you must have a parent/guardian with you. * Please Note: Sorry but Cancellations are non-refundable. * The pottery is open to the public and is also a pottery shop. I may have to serve customers, and visitors may like to look at what your making. Please make sure you are OK with this before booking. *The pottery can get cold in the winter, so wear layers and bring an apron. * If you need a dairy free milk or gluten free snack etc, please inform me asap.
