Come and have some fun learning to make a pot on a proper Potters wheel. You will have tuition from a Professional Potter, & learn about the different clays, how to center your clay to achieve a cylinder or bowl shape. You can keep up to two of your favorite pots and choose a lovely coloured glaze to have them fired in. Pick up from the pottery in 3 to 4 weeks. Cost of £39 per person includes: All tuition (1 to 2 ratio), clay, glaze and 2 firings in the kiln. PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT POINTS BEFORE BOOKING: * This workshop is for children from ages 10 to 16 years ONLY, as they must be able to reach the peddles on the wheel. * ONE responsible adult to stay with them through the lesson * Sorry, but no other children or siblings allowed in the pottery during the lesson if they are not on the workshop. * Children must be able to follow instructions from the tutor * Cancellations are Non-refundable if less than 3 days before your booked date. * Admission to the Museum is free to the booked child and their One responsible adult; but any other family coming into the museum with you will have to pay the museum entry fee.
