This is a weekly course for those who would like an on-going class. We will learn the fundamentals of pottery from scratch looking at different hand building and some throwing techniques along with colour, glazing and how we prepare our work for the kiln process. Whats covered on this course: * Coiling, pinching & slab-building * Experience throwing a cylinder/bowl on the pottery wheel (please note, times will be limited on the wheel as I only have 2) * Under-glazes & coloured slip * Glazing You will learn through demonstration & support from a Professional Potter in a small and friendly class. Spaces are limited and early booking is advised. This is a adults only class. Price includes tuition, clay, colour, glazing and firing of one piece per session. (Other work can be purchased according to weight). Tea & coffee is provided. Please note the dates of this course especially the ONE session that is on a Sunday. Details about gaining entry to the pottery will be emailed to you at the beginning of January.
